My, how time flies. If you're a parent, prom can easily become an emotional roller coaster. The birds are getting ready to flock the nest and it all seems just too quickly.
I myself am still in the earlier stages of parenthood, with daughters of the age of six. Just the thought of them becoming teenagers ache my heart, let alone prom and university. Life is a constant. It's always moving whether we like or not, so we must embrace it.
To all the grads of 2019, I wish you success in all your endeavors. Don't be afraid to make mistakes and when you do make them, learn from them. Remember to laugh and remember it's okay to cry. Try to always live in the present, as you can't change the past or worry about a future that hasn't happened.
Most of all, enjoy your youth years and live life to the fullest!
