My Passion For Photography Ignited
Slightly before the Digital SLR age, I was visiting with family in Nova Scotia. My cousin had the latest Nikon, which sat wasting away, collecting dust on a shelf. I was born a creative illustrator, and painter. I knew nothing about photography, but was always interested in this medium. I expressed my interest to my uncle, "Knock yourself out" he said. I went to the store, bought some black and white film, and went nuts.
I had no idea what I was doing, and therefore chose the auto option. What I did know, is that I couldn't wait to get the film developed! I had all the photos developed before my trip ended. I held the pictures in awe. That was it. I was in love. I don't think I can really explain the feeling. Shortly after I returned home, I went out and bought the same camera.
A few years later, my passion for weddings fell into place when I was asked by a family member to document her special day. I was absolutely terrified! She loved my work and insisted. The Digital SLR age had recently come in, and I wasn't comfortable shooting her day with film, so I upgraded. As time went by, my passion ignited. I eventually attended George Brown and took the Digital Photography program. A hobby became a business, and the rest is history.
I am an outgoing soul, with an insatiable appetite to socialize. I love meeting new people from all walks of life, and like to go wherever the wind takes me. I love documenting events as they unfold, knowing I can freeze moments in time to be cherished forever.
I would love to assist you in telling your story.
Thank you for visiting,
Stacy
